Updates on COVID-19 Grant/Loan Programs: New Guidance for PPP Forgiveness, and Bernalillo County Launches $5 Million Grant Initiative for Small Businesses

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has updated its guidance document on securing forgiveness for federal Paycheck Protection Program loans to reflect new flexibility provided to employers in the latest legislation passed by Congress. For more information on applying for a PPP loan or further information on repayment and forgiveness, click here for the Treasury Department’s resources and guidance.

Meanwhile, the Bernalillo County Commission approved a $5 million grant program for small businesses, utilizing funds distributed to local governments through federal CARES Act legislation.
