UNDERSTANDING THE DATA: U.S. AV Jobs Coalition provides information on economic impacts of automated vehicles

Aurora and Partners for Automated Vehicle Education (PAVE) have been working closely with businesses, nonprofits and advocates from the autonomous vehicle ecosystem to launch the U.S. AV Jobs Coalition, which will provide research-backed information on the economic impacts of automated vehicles (AVs).

Through an online platform, usavjobs.com, the coalition will share resources, statistics and initiatives that illustrate workforce impacts of autonomous vehicles on the U.S. economy.

Visitors to this site will find a compilation of research articles, existing workforce development programs, policy recommendations, fact sheets and other resources.

Conference and event organizers can also find workforce experts for speaking engagements in the coalition’s speaker’s bureau.

The US AV Jobs Coalition launched at TRB’s Automated Road Transportation Symposium in San Diego at a conference session titled “Help Wanted: AV Education and Industry Partnerships for Blue, White, and New Collar Jobs.”

Aurora became a Connection-level Chamber member this year.
