PROVIDING MORE CARE: Lovelace Medical Group opens northeast Albuquerque location

Lovelace Medical Group CEO and GACC Board Member, Michael Kueker, center, participates in the ribbon cutting for Lovelace’s newest Albuquerque clinic on Feb. 12.

On Feb. 12, Lovelace Medical Group celebrated the opening of its primary care clinic in Albuquerque.

According to Lovelace, the opening of the clinic is to help address the city’s provider shortage.

The clinic is located at 8080 Academy Road NE. It also houses five primary care physicians, who will provide care for thousands of New Mexicans. According to Lovelace, the clinic will begin accepting new patients soon.

Lovelace Medical Group CEO and GACC Board Member, Michael Kueker, was present to accept a commemorative certificate and cut the ribbon.

Kueker and Lovelace Medical Group chose this location for its newest primary care clinic because it didn’t have to build a new location, and it’s big enough to accommodate a sufficient number of providers.

Kueker has said the new location is part of Lovelace Medical Group’s effort to make primary care more accessible in Albuquerque and New Mexico.

We celebrate Lovelace Medical Group and Michael Kueker for their efforts to continue to provide much needed health care to New Mexicans.
