Holmans USA named Carlos Garcia as its new CEO on April 8.
The Albuquerque-based IT company named Garcia — who is also a Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce board member —- was named to the position after the recent passing of previous owner and CEO John Santoru, who died in February.
Santoru was also on the GACC Board of Directors, where he was a valued member of the board and is deeply missed as his commitment to the community was evident in everything he did.
Holmans USA partners with the U.S. Department of Energy, a key employer in New Mexico due to Sandia National Laboratories and Los Alamos National Laboratory.
Garcia previously served as the company’s COO.
“After 25 years of growing alongside Holmans USA, I am truly honored to step into the role of CEO at such a pivotal moment in our journey,” Garcia said in a statement. “Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of learning from John Santoru, whose belief that lasting success is built on trust, respect and meaningful partnerships.”
We would like to congratulate Carlos Garcia on his new role and look forward to continue working together with him and Holmans USA to make Albuquerque and New Mexico a great place for businesses and families.
