HITTING A MILESTONE: The Grant Plant secures $400M in funding for clients

The Grant Plant, a women-led grant consulting firm based in New Mexico, has surpassed $400 million in funding secured on behalf of clients.

Since its founding in 2003, TGP has partnered with nonprofits, schools, health care providers, government agencies and other mission-driven organizations to bring critical resources into communities across New Mexico and the nation.

The Grant Plant has been a member of the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce since 2023.

“This milestone reflects the trust our clients place in us and the measurable impact they create with grant funding,” said Tara Gohr, president & CEO. “From economic development to education, health care and Indigenous sovereignty, the projects we’ve
supported have brought critical resources that transform communities.”

Over the past two decades, The Grant Plant has supported more than 100 organizations and written thousands of proposals.

Highlights include securing more than $30 million for the City Alive economic initiative, federal funding for the SpaceValley Foundation and its partners, Indigenous language preservation and education programs nationwide, and long-term support for PB&J Family Services, a leader in early childhood education and prevention.

With $70 million in grants awarded in 2024 alone, TGP expects to reach the $500 million milestone within the next two years.

The Chamber congratulates The Grant Plant on its milestone and successes working with nonprofits to make a difference in the community.
