COVID-19 Video Update #11 – Chief Justice Judith Nakamura

From time to time during the COVID-19 public health emergency, we will be sending video messages from community leaders that provide Albuquerque-area businesses with information, perspectives, and updates about the spread of the virus, mitigation strategies, directives, and resources.

Please take a moment to watch the video below from Supreme Court Chief Justice Judith Nakamura, one of the Chamber’s key partners in state government. In response to a request from Chamber President and CEO Terri Cole to update Chamber investors on the latest developments from his office, Chief Justice Nakamura discusses how the justice system has responded to the COVID-19 pandemic, from courtrooms to prisons. This video reflects information available as of Thursday, April 23rd; this health emergency and the responses to it continue to rapidly evolve.

The Chamber extends our sincere appreciation to Chief Justice Nakamura for taking the time to update us today, and our thanks to all those working hard to keep New Mexico’s systems of justice running.
