A NEW ERA: Chamber at Apache Nugget Travel Center and Casino re-opening

The Apache Nugget Travel Center and casino re-opened on Feb. 14.

On Feb. 14, Apache Nugget Travel Center and Casino near Cuba re-opened, and the Chamber was there for the grand re-opening.

The event featured remarks from Tony Amormino, Apache Nugget president and CEO, Adrian Notsinneh, Jicarilla Apache Nation president, and Sen. Leo Jaramillo (D-Los Alamos, Rio Arriba, Sandoval & Santa Fe) as well as other New Mexico dignitaries.

Closed for a few years, the casino is owned by the Jicarilla Apache Nation and originally opened on August 6, 2004.
