MAKING A DIFFERENCE: Excellent Schools New Mexico a top three finalist for Daniels Fund $250K grant

With education being one of the Chamber’s Bold Issue Group (BIG), we are wishing Excellent Schools of New Mexico well as it is a top three finalist for the Daniels Fund Medal of Excellence.

Chamber member Excellent Schools New Mexico is a nonprofit organization devoted to ensuring that all New Mexico children have the opportunity to fulfill their potential and lead healthy, meaningful lives.

The organization makes high-impact grants to our state’s best schools and educators so that more New Mexico children can receive a quality public school education.

The Daniels Fund Salute to Excellence will take place on Jan. 29 in Denver.

According to Daniels Fund, the three finalists were selected for their transformative impact, alignment with Bill Daniels’ vision, and outstanding leadership.

“Their life-changing impact is exceptional in scale, scope, and quality, and their best-in-class outcomes would undoubtedly make Bill Daniels proud,” the release said.

One organization will be named as the winner of the award live at the event and will receive a $250,000 grant to support their mission.

The Chamber is proud of the work Excellent Schools of New Mexico does to keep education at the forefront of discussion. Good luck!!!
