Early voting taking place through Dec. 6 at 17 locations

Early voting for the 2025 city of Albuquerque run-off election is underway at 17 locations across the city.

The runoff includes contests for mayor and City Council Districts 1 and 3, following the November election in which no candidate for these offices received more than 50 percent of the vote.

Bernalillo County Clerk Michelle S. Kavanaugh is encouraging voters to make a plan to participate, especially with the shortened early voting period and fewer Election Day locations compared to November.

“Early voting gives residents six days to cast their ballot,” said Kavanaugh. “We encourage voters to plan ahead, confirm their eligibility and choose the voting option and location that works best for their schedule.”

Early voting takes place Dec. 1 through Dec. 6, with Election Day on Nov. 9. A full list of early voting sites can be seen here.
