REACHING A MILESTONE: Lovelace UNM Rehabilitation Hospital named a 2025 best places to work in health care

Lovelace UNM Rehabilitation Hospital was recognized by Modern Healthcare as one of the best places to work in 2025. The hospital made the list for its fifth time.

On May 13, Lovelace UNM Rehabilitation Hospital received an accolade from Modern Healthcare as one of the 2025 Best Places to Work in Healthcare. This is the fifth year the hospital has made the list.

“We are very proud that Lovelace UNM Rehabilitation Hospital has been named to Modern Healthcare’s Best Places to Work in Healthcare for 2025,” said Troy Greer, Lovelace Health System CEO. “We are dedicated to helping patients recover and regain a quality of life after a major injury or illness. This recognition is a testament to our team’s dedication to patient care and also caring for one another. Serving the community is a great privilege, and we are honored to be recognized.”

It joins nine other entities affiliated with Ardent Health, the organization’s parent company based in Nashville, Tenn., recognized on the list.

This award program identifies and recognizes outstanding employers in the health care industry nationwide. Modern Healthcare partners with Workforce Research Group on the assessment process, which includes an extensive employee survey assessing overall satisfaction, work-life balance, communication, policies and practices, and the work environment.

The Chamber congratulates Lovelace UNM Rehabilitation Hospital on the milestone. Lovelace UNM Rehabilitation Hospital has been a Chamber member since 2011.
