BREAKING NEWS: Call to Action! Paid Family Medical Leave Will Be Heard Tomorrow

Tomorrow, the House Commerce and Economic Development Committee will hear House Bill 11, the Paid Family and Medical Leave Act. This bill will enact a half-a-billion-dollar massive new tax increase at a time when state coffers are overflowing. The measure provides for 3 MONTHS of paid leave for a wide range of people and goes way beyond family or medical leave. The bill will expand the bureaucracy by more than 200 people, larger than the staff that administers workers compensation.

Please contact members of the committee to register your opposition by clicking here. This will take you to the committee page on the legislative website. Scroll down and you will find each committee member’s name. Click on their name and you can send them an email. Thank you for taking action!
