THE NEXT GENERATION: New Mexico Public Education Department launching Career and Technical Education program

The College and Career Readiness Bureau of the New Mexico Public Education Department is launching a new initiative to ensure Career and Technical Education program graduates are well-prepared for the industries, employers and careers that eagerly await them, but the real key to success lies in directly hearing from employers about their needs and challenges.

According to officials with the program, it is committed to creating a new resource hub, complete with high-demand skills and credentials, that will guide the Career and Technical Education programs in high schools and colleges across the state.

PED is working to gather the most up-to-date information for preparing the best-trained and ready talent possible. There will be virtual conversations held on the schedule below. Click the link to register.
