CONGRATS, GRADS!: Local Charter Continues to Defy the Odds

Last month, Mission Achievement and Success Charter School celebrated another graduating class of outstanding personal and academic achievement. School leaders announced that every one of the seniors in the Class of 2021 graduated. About 50% of the students were the first in their families to do so.

And their futures are looking bright: the school also announced that 67 of the graduates have commitments to go to college, with a record eight graduates headed to out-of-state schools. Another eight graduates will enter military service.

MAS is a PreK-12 state-chartered charter school that primarily serves economically disadvantaged students – more than 80% of their students are eligible for free and reduced lunch rates – at its two campuses in Albuquerque.

Congratulations to the 2021 graduates for their hard work, and to the teachers who helped support them on their journey!
