YOUTH JOB FAIR: BernCo free event connects youth with employers, résumé assistance and job application support

Bernalillo County invites young job seekers to connect with employers, explore career opportunities, and gain valuable job search skills at the 2025 Youth Job Fair, happening on from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, March 15, at the South Valley Multipurpose Senior Center, 2008 Larrazolo Road SW.

The free event, hosted in partnership with the New Mexico Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR), is designed to support high school students and young adults looking for part-time, summer or entry-level job opportunities.

Attendees will have the opportunity to:

✅ Meet with local employers hiring for youth-friendly positions.

✅ Receive on-site job application assistance.

✅ Participate in one-on-one sessions with HR professionals.

✅ Get expert help with resume writing and interview preparation.

✅ Connect with DVR for employment support services.

“Young job seekers will get face-to-face time with employers, access to hands-on career resources, and a chance to sharpen their job search skills,” says Human Resources Director Bernadette Perez. “We encourage all interested youth to take advantage of this opportunity to start building their careers.”

Participants are encouraged to bring copies of their résumé.
