RIO GRANDE RIVALRY: University of New Mexico to battle New Mexico State University on Sept. 27

It’s about bragging rights!

The University of New Mexico will take on the New Mexico State University Aggies at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, at University Stadium, 1111 University Blvd. SE, as part of the Rio Grande Rivalry.

The Lobos have started the season well and bring a 2-1 record on the line.

All UNM supporters, including alumni, family and friends, are invited to rally at a game day tailgate hosted by the UNM Black Alumni Chapter and the UNM Native American Alumni Chapter.

The group will meet at 11 a.m. on Louie Lane, north of University Stadium. Enjoy Lobo prize giveaways, food and drinks available for purchase from food truck vendors (or bring your own), and plenty of opportunities to snap photos and show off your Lobo spirit with fellow fans.
