INVESTING IN THE FUTURE: Capra Bank breaks ground on permanent Albuquerque location

Capra Bank officials broke ground on its permanent location on March 26. The new location at 5171 Lang Ave. NE is expected to be completed in 2028.

A new home is in the works for Capra Bank as officials broke ground on its new permanent Albuquerque location at 5171 Lang Ave. NE, on March 26.

A temporary facility is already operating on site, providing full-service banking with conveniences such as drive-through service and a night drop while construction is underway.

“We chose a location in Albuquerque that is part of a thriving, vibrant area of the city and conveniently situated at the intersection of Paseo del Norte and I-25,” said Capra Bank President Andres Garcia, who is also a Chamber board member.

“Our new location will provide added convenience and accessibility for customers, with features such as a drive-through, ATM, and night drop. This building also demonstrates Capra Bank’s long-term investment in the Albuquerque community and our commitment to continuing to grow alongside the businesses and families we serve.”

Construction of the permanent facility is expected to be completed in 2028. In the meantime, customers are encouraged to visit Capra Bank’s temporary full-service facility located adjacent to the construction site at 5171 Lang Ave NE.

The Chamber congratulates Andres Garcia and Capra Bank on being an important part of the community in making change.

Shovels up! Capra Bank celebrates a major milestone with yesterday’s groundbreaking!
