EXPANDING ITS IMPACT: Panda Express opens 15th location in Albuquerque

The staff of the newest area Panda Express, located at 2040 Gibson Blvd. SE, participates in a ribbon cutting for its newest location.

On Aug. 20, the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce helped Panda Express open up its newest restaurant.

The location, 2040 Gibson Blvd. SE, is Panda Express’ 15th location in Albuquerque and its 25th in New Mexico.

In July, Panda Restaurant Group was named the third-best large company to work for in the 2025 iteration of Top Workplaces. The company has been named a top workplace more than half a dozen times — consecutively — and employs nearly 600 workers across its operations in New Mexico.

During the ribbon cutting ceremony, Panda Express made a $1,000 donation to Meals on Wheel NM as part of their community impact efforts. The company is also a strong supporter of the Chamber’s Albuquerque Reads program, donating bookmarks and kid meal certificates for students who read five or more books – Thank you!

The Chamber celebrates Panda Express for its success in Albuquerque and New Mexico. We also celebrate Chamber members supporting other members.
