CREATING A NEW AVENUE: Indian Pueblo Cultural Center opens entrepreneur complex

The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center opened the Indian Pueblo Entrepreneur Complex, which will provide workspace for general businesses.

On Aug. 23, the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center (IPCC) opened the Indian Pueblo Entrepreneur Complex (IPEC).

IPEC’s Commercial Kitchen will focus on supporting those in New Mexico’s food and agriculture industries.

The kitchen provides a 7,500-square-foot workspace featuring cold storage and transportation, a test kitchen, high-volume fresh produce processing and production areas, and general business services for both Native and local entrepreneurs.

“I’m very proud that the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center is opening the Entrepreneur

Complex,” said IPCC President and CEO Michael Canfield. “This complex will support – through facilities and services – the vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem that exists locally, especially amongst our Pueblo people. I’m deeply grateful for the financial support from federal and state departments as well as the many corporations, foundations, and individuals who believed in this vision. We have built a cultural and business corridor on this campus, and we’re anxious to extend these opportunities to the next generation of entrepreneurs and small business owners. This is the place to be.”
