BUILDING A FOUNDATION: Chamber kicks off 2025-2026 Shakers & Stirrers with networking lunch at Shark Reef Cafe

GACC members networked during the Shakers & Stirrers event at the Shark Reef Cafe on July 16.

Things are better, under the sea.

The Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce kicked off the 2025-2026 program year with a bang.

On July 16, the GACC hosted its first Shakers & Stirrers networking event at the Shark Reef Cafe at the Albuquerque BioPark Botanic Garden and Aquarium.

GACC board member and KOB-TV Vice President and General Manager Michelle Donaldson welcomed the guests to the event — which is a networking event for Chamber members.

Donaldson also welcomed new Chamber member Ativo Senior Living of Albuquerque, which was represented by Melissa Spiers, executive director, and Peter Godeschalk, community relations director.

The Chamber thanks all who attended the Shakers & Stirrers event. Our next event is a luncheon at the Sandia Golf Club Event Center featuring PNM CEO Don Tarry on Aug. 27, where Tarry will speak on “Powering New Mexico, Together: Our Energy Journey From Today Into The Future.”

Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce board members, Michelle Donaldson, left, KOB-TV vice president and general manager, and Tom Briones, third from left, of Briones Business Law Consulting, participate in the Shakers & Stirrers on July 16.
