SOLARE COLLEGIATE: ABQ Charter in the Business of Defying Odds

With an extraordinary school year just weeks away from being in the rearview mirror, we’re spotlighting a charter school the Chamber supported through its launch a couple years ago. Solare Collegiate is a middle school that serves largely low-income students whose strong academic performance proves that demography is not destiny. Its founder and director is a Leadership Albuquerque alum too, Rachael Sewards.
